Disappointing Experience with Arbitrary Rules

My experience with this shop has been frustrating and disappointing due to the owner's arbitrary changes to sales rules without proper documentation, communication or prior notice to customers.

Firstly, the terms and conditions of sales agreements (laybuys) and sales are habitually altered. This lack of consistency and transparency is highly unprofessional and has caused significant inconvenience. Customers enter into agreements based on the rules communicated to them and displayed at the time of purchase, and it is unacceptable for these rules to be changed without prior notification. Literally, rules are displayed at the counter, but if you walk into the store, the salespersons communicate changed rules frequently.

I once raised this, but the owner asserted that it is her shop and she can do as she pleases. Moreover, if a customer raises a concern on the store's WhatsApp group, their complaints are shut down and deleted promptly, and the complainant is, at times, removed from the WhatsApp group. This approach creates an unpleasant shopping environment and undermines customer trust. Businesses (sole proprietors or partnerships, etc.) should operate with a clear set of rules and treat their customers respectfully, which is clearly lacking.
