Misinformed causes me to be listed

In 2016 i was at evaton mall and i was approached by marketing agents from sebokeng gym to recruit me to join the gym. They had a wonderfull 1 year special for R159 per month. I then joined the gym. the gym contract was due to expire in february but because i did not have time to go to the gym for cancellation. then eventually i went to the gym on how to ask how to get it cancelled, then the lady at reception told me that she will get the cancellation form sent to me. I then waited and waited but there was no form sent to me. i then went again to ask then i was sent upstairs to get the form, the gentleman (indian) upstairs said he will get it sent, if it is not sent then i can reverse the premiums till they come back to me, i did that, to my supprise i did not get the form, i did not get any correspondence as to that i am behind with my premiums but i was sent to the lawyers for collection and when i was doing follow up as to why was that. The lady there (Sibongile) told me to come to the gym to identify the person that told me all that information. now i must take a time off my work and go to the gym to identify that person. what if i do not even recognise that person? does that mean i will be listed?
