WITHOUT PREDIJUCE 1st Mail to them Good afternoon Errol. I have sent Jane a whatsapp message on the evening of 29 April @ 18:52pm, with photos to complain about the biker setup. She ignored me in total. She did see the message. When I first spoke to you for our booking, it was NEVER mentioned about a biker rally. Don’t you think you have to inform your tenants about that?? Our intention – as was mentioned in our telephonic conversation, was that we are coming for fishing. Also, in our email conversations, it was never mentioned from your side. This is *********. The first word I heard about the biker rally was when I got the keys at your office on the 26th of April. This is unacceptable, as we were inconvenienced from the day we got there till the morning of the 1st of May. Access was restricted to the flats with a car – we struggled to get to the pier for fishing every day and so I can go on. You as a letting agent cannot ASSUME that we were coming for this biker thing. Just for your info - all the people on the 3rdfloor we spoke to were also unaware of this biker festival. So what this comes down to is that we are VERY unhappy with the whole experience, we would NEVER have come if we knew about the bikes. And then to mention other things INSIDE the flat: 1. The one light cyan colour pillow was brown of dirt ( I don’t even want to think when last the bedding was washed?!?!) I have a photo of proof…. It was turned upside down when we first came into the room, but when I moved it, I saw it. 2. The mattress of the single bed in the room at the patio, is so worn through, you can’t sleep on it – even my son who weigh so little. We had to put the mattress on the floor with our own bedding to make sure our son could sleep properly. Poor!!! 3. The cutlery is in such a bad state!!! Steak knives almost all broken handles. And the tin opener is also not working. 4. The main toilet doesn’t stop with water running – you have to close the valve every time. 5. The previous times we stayed at Dolphin View we at least had someone who changed the black bags (and may be swept) the flat. This time NO garbage removal. We bought our own black bags. Overall it was a horrible experience staying in Dolphin View, due to noise & closures. I didn’t pay R4 900, to experience the above. I expect feedback from you. Otherwise I will not leave it here. AS FAR AS THE DIRTY LINEN IS CONCERNED I DO NOT BELEIVE IT AS ALL OUR LINEN IS SENT TO A LAUNDROMAT,AND WILL NOT BE PUT ON A BED IF IT HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED PROPERLY REGARDS ERROL Now my second mail explaining properly and also added picture proof. With respect, I can clearly see from your way of communication that you are not doing email correspondence on a daily basis due to your email "manners" if I can call it like that. When writing in capital letters it means that you are shouting at someone! Totally unacceptable. Very bad manners. Let's rather just stick with the reasons for our complaints. 1) I can only gather from your reply that you actual feel zero for our complaint... Why would you..? you got your money for the weekend so why care. 2) As you are also "assuming", I can also assume you are probably not even going to finish reading this mail. Why would you, you got your money. My last sentence might just change your mind to read to the end. So, let me just give you my piece of mind regarding this whole weekend. *** First of all, if we wanted to stay at Manaba, we would have asked for a booking at Manaba. We clearly wanted "sea front" for the fishing at the peer. No other reason and therefore we would have not wanted to move. Again, you didn't want to mention this to your tenants! *** You assumed that all folks booking for the weekend was for the "activity". Don't assume. You were afraid people are not going to make bookings because of that and then you couldn't get your units out for the weekend. *** Funny enough, most of the 3rd floor tenants didn't even know about these "activities". *** See pictures attached of "some" of the cutlery. This is disgusting! This just shows me how intense you look after everything after your previous tenants used the unit. Sorry, but again it is a reflection of "don't care". *** Tersia wouldn't mention the linen if it wasn't an issue. See for yourself the proof. *** Also for your pleasure to view, a video of what was happening Saturday night after 20:00. Don't tell me you would have been happy with this if you were a tenant. *** Even having a "gate pass" our access from and to the unit was totally restricted. Again, you couldn't care because you got your money. On Sunday we were told on "once" in and out for the day. From Friday, every time we wanted to go somewhere, we had to explain and also getting back to the unit. The gate pass actually didn't work whatsoever. Pictures also attached about where the fences were put up and you can clearly see that our access has been restricted. Send me a copy of your T'c & C's. Our lawyer needs this for his further actions. And now his mail... HI TERSIA THIS IS MY WAY OF SENDING AN E MAIL I AM DEFINATELY NOT SHOUTING AT ANY ONE ,AND IF CAPITAL LETTERS MEANS THAT,THEN THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW, AS I DID NOT KNOW ,AND I AM NOW GETTING FED UP WITH THE INSULTS FROM YOU. I HAVE NOT STOPPED READING YOUR E MAIL,AS YOU SAID I WOULD,AND YOUR THREATING ME DOES NOT WORK EITHER,WE ALWAYS HAD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP ON YOUR PREVIOUS VISITS, SO WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER YOU BECAUSE YOU SAY THAT THE BIKER WEEKEND SPOILT YOUR WEEKEND,WHAT I CAN OFFER IS A DISCOUNTED WEEKEND OF YOUR CHOICE OUT OF SEASON. IF THAT DOES NOT SATISFY YOU THEN YOU ARE TO DO WHAT EVER YOU THINK IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO KIND REGARDS ERROL Long and short... Don't even think of dealing with Seaview Estates in Margate, rather try someone else.
