Tipping for Your Staff - Cavendish Square, Cape Town

<p>Good day,</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Recently I visited your Cavendish Square outlet. Considering the demographic that is likely to be shopping at Cavendish Square, it is fair to say that most people do not carry cash with them, but are likely to use credit or debit cards. I find it very inconvenient and highly unusual that you do not allowed gratuity to be added electronically.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Even if you had to minus 10 to 15% to cover administration costs from tips received through electronic banking, at least it means that your staff will be receiving something in addition to their basic wage. This is surely better than nothing?</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Considering that this is the standard method of payment in 2016, I find the fact that you have not built this facility into your current business model, quite lazy and disgusting really. It is embarrassing to your clientele, and visibly frustrating to your staff.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
