Misleading Marketing
I’ve been a customer of Seattle Coffee Co. for a few months now and I love their coffee, it’s great ! They’re the only coffee company I have coffee at.
With the amazing coffee comes loyalty points which is really cool. The only issue with this is that they are offline most of the time which makes it difficult to get your free coffee. I didn’t mind going back every time until they are back online up until tonight.
I was at Seattle coffee co. In Belgravia road, Penlyn, Cape Town where I bought two coffees for my wife and I. They guy behind the counter started making the the coffee after I placed the order, I went to pay and when I went to get the coffees I asked why he did not ask for my loyalty number, he said that they are offline. I explain that other Seattle branches take my loyalty number even if they are offline. He again said that they are offline and there’s nothing he can do.
I just have two questions. Does it not defeat the purpose of having a loyalty system if it’s going to be offline most of the time ?
Is there any truth in saying that your 11th coffee that you purchase is free ?
