SEAT...enough said
This seems to be a long story but if you interested please read my review till the end. We enrolled our daughters in term 1 and lucky for us our daughters are hard working and very smart...they caught up with all their work and even wrote tests for term 1... That's where it ended...since day 1 my wife and I had to assist and in some cases teach full classes as there seemed to be a problem with tutors not being available...seat told us that if one class is cancelled then join a sister class...tried that but the tutors does not allow the kids to join. End of year exams are around the corner and we still waiting on the report cards for term 1...like I said between my wife and I we had to play teacher to our kids to make sure that they have the knowledge to be able to write tests and exams. No marks for assignments done, always busy marking and at one stage even asked parents to assist in marking...losing assignments, tests and exams that was submitted and blaming the kids for never submitting the work... Phoning us and telling us that we missed payments after payments made and proof sent...again and again... No feedback from anybody when tried to get info...always hear today but today never happens... Some tutors try but then gets discouraged and I suppose quit...it's been so bad that our daughter in gr 7 had about 2 or 3 English classes since starting with seat...the rest of the time class is cancelled... I checked the reviews and as we got introduced to seat by people we trust it seemed that in the past it was a great option but I regret that the lack of commitment, communication and the drive from the directors seems like they are breaking the kids and tutors spirit... Seeing that seat doesn't read, reflect or respond on the reviews is worrying to me...as this shows that they are not interested in bettering themselves and assist in building a better future with and for the youth... I can and will join the people who wrote reviews and say... don't enroll your children with them... although being more affordable (thank you for that) it's just sad but I can say Impaq is a better option... So for my last word I will stick to my guns...don't enroll your kids with seat academy...we did and we work hard with our kids to study...still need the results and marks...but I will go the extra mile and report them to the department of education...as I know that education is important to build a better future...I hope that this step will help the future students and parents to get better service than we did... SEAT...please just sort out the report cards...we made the decision to enroll our kids at another institution for next year...sad to say we need the report cards to do so...as after all the hard work I refuse to let my kids redo a grade as a result of the institution not pitching up.
