Not 4-Star Standards – Disappointing Stay at Seasons Golf, Leisure & Spa

We booked a Play & Stay package at Seasons Golf, Leisure & Spa in August 2025 and left extremely disappointed. The experience did not come close to what one expects from a resort marketed as “4-star.”

Noise: The hotel-style rooms are not soundproof. On Saturday night, the neighboring room was so loud during intimacy that it was impossible to sleep. This was not only disruptive but completely inappropriate for a family-friendly resort.

Facilities: The coffee station had no milk or s****s. The TV and Wi-Fi didn’t work all weekend, and the in-room safe had no instructions and was unusable. The shower design caused water to flood toward the toilet. With no in-room phone and poor signal across the property, contacting Reception was unrealistic.

Food & Menu: Overpriced and disappointing. The menu was limited, food was mediocre, and not exceptional — nothing to write home about. Breakfast pastries were stale. For the price charged, the standard was unacceptable.

Service: Restaurant service was consistently slow and inattentive. Management later excused delays by claiming “100 guests” were being served, but at no point were there more than 20–30 people present. This excuse simply doesn’t reflect reality.

Management: Throughout our stay, management was nowhere to be seen. Apart from twice at the restaurant, there was no visible leadership ensuring guest comfort or resolving issues. Afterward, their private responses focused on defending “processes” rather than taking accountability.

Compensation: Instead of addressing complaints, we were offered a restrictive, midweek-only voucher (accommodation only, off-peak). We declined, as this is not meaningful compensation. Guests don’t book “processes” — they book experiences, and ours fell far short.

Overall, we experienced noisy rooms, poor facilities, overpriced and mediocre food, slow service, and absent management. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve issues fairly has left us with no intention of returning.

I would not recommend Seasons Golf, Leisure & Spa to anyone looking for a true 4-star getaway.
