Dishonest or ***********?

Initially I was impressed by prompt and seemingly effective service of existing irrigation system and well point pump. A few requested changes were made and all seemed to work well when demonstrated after service. In the days after it became clear that the system was not functioning as before. I called them back and was again promptly answered by someone coming to inspect and address my concerns. However, I was told all is well. That it is hot and my well point is dry from the warm weather (despite all the recent rain and previously functioning excellently in draught seasons) and that they will call me to explain why my pump is switching on and off every 15 seconds. I did not receive any feedback. I called another service provider who has told me that the system has a lead and that is why the pump is switching on and off constantly, as it is trying to regulate lost pressure. I now need to re-service the whole system to find the problem. I am not sure which scenario is worse: the fact that they didn't realize there was a problem that would shorten the lifespan of my recently replaced pump, or that they possibly did realize what was going on and was dishonest about it. I would NOT recommend "Sean's irrigation and borehole ***" found on facebook in the cape town area to anyone.
