A Nightmare - Shockingly bad workmanship, Poor Attitude and an Unfinished Job.

SHOCKING!!! What do you do when the owner of the business tries to put the blame on everyone and everything else, except himself, for his poor quality of work; rude attitude; taking forever to complete the work which started on the 27th October 2020; never returns calls or replys to e-mails and then just doesn't come back to finish the job as of the 3rd May 2023( 6 months down the line ).

Totally unprofessional!!

While working on site, Bruce simply left his team unattended, and returned later promising to fix the errors that had been made during the day. We waited days "to be fitted in to his schedule" and were made to feel like our project which is paid for 80% is less important than other work he was busy with. Then he sent his team to coat the floor and it was left with marks, patches, chips and bubbles. We asked them to stop and call him - at which point he agreed that he would need to sand down the floor before continuing. The following day, while standing next to us, his staff mixed a full barrel of material only to use a small portion and when we questioned him, he lost his temper and said "we should bill him / take it of his balance due". The floor is full of bubbles and chips where his team has worked.

In the intrem, because Bruce accused the product of being defective, we have contacted the supplier, who inspected the site where the work was done and ran batch tests on the same batch of material that was used for the floor. They sent an email confirming that the product did not fail and that the problem with the floor was in fact "poor workmanship". The supplier recommended sanding the floor down and re-applying the products correctly, as well as posibbly getting other recomendations from other reputable companies.

Two independent companies ( recommended by the supplier ) that I called in to assist were not as polite as the supplier, and pointed out other areas of poor workmanship.

Bruce was informed by email of the above, and he is apparently too busy to rectify the poor workmanship problems.
