Service department rips you off like you are a millionaire.
Never again will I buy a Renault car - mine was bought brand new in December 2015. Sales assistant was amazing but she no longer works there. Service department rips you off like you are a millionaire - which I am not! The Renault Sandero Expression 2015/2016 model also has a hooter button fault to it. The hooter button on the indicator stalk first stops working/becomes faulty when the head lights are on and it struggles to hoot then just after the warranty expires then the hooter button stops working completely. For Renault service department to assess what is wrong with my car (yet I told them exactly what is wrong with the car and it is a known problem with my type of car, they wanted to charge me R1 007! They also played dumb about it not being a common problem with my car - the hooter button on the indicator stalk). To replace the hooter stalk at Pop's Auto in Walmer I was quoted R2 520 excl labour (labour was also cheaper than Renault and Renault only wanted to match Pop's Auto after I complained). Pop's Auto also did not charge me for the initial assessment fee of looking at my hooter button on the indicator stalk although they did initially quote me R580 to assess. I did not go to Renault because they over charged on the hooter stalk (more than R2 520 to what Pop's Auto quoted me) yet both places get their supplies from French Line Auto. I would rather go to a place where I am treated as a respected client and not be ********** than be treated like how I was at Renault and how they would only lower the costs once I showed them a competitive quote.
