Deny working on our leaking roof

14 Van Staden Street Vaalpark 1947 4 and 7 April 2017 To whom it may concern SEALPR (Sealants & coatings (PTY) LTD) gave us a quote on our leaking roof. The amount was R16 000. We have a 5 year guarantee. They continue with work on the roof. They guaranteed the roof is now sealed and will not leak again. We then put new ceilings and wooden flooring in the dining room and the main bedroom at our own cost. We also repainted the walls, because of the water stripes on the wall. Unfortunately the roof kept on leaking – worse than ever before! Water kept on leaking through the ceiling. They came back to fix the roof on many occasions, because when it rain, water is literally running from the roof in the dining room, kitchen, sitting room, bathrooms and main bedroom (see photo’s attached). Every time after they have worked on the roof, the leaking became worse. On 22 February 2017, the ceiling in the dining room collapsed on our dining room table (see photo’s attached). We phoned them and Eric and Nico visited our premises on 24 February 2017. Despite my husband asking them to wait, he is on his way from work to discuss the matter with them, they quickly took a look at the roof and left (according to our domestic worker). When my husband arrived at home 5 minutes later, they already left. My husband then received an email from SEALPR that they cannot find any records of work being done by them on our roof. Which is absolutely not possible! (See all the evidence of communication between us). We do not only have damaged done to the ceilings, but to the wooden floors, chairs, couch, dining room furniture, walls etc. too. The water literally runs from the ceilings. We do not have any ill intentions by sending this letter to you. The problem is, since February they do not respond to our calls. We just want them to fix our roof, OR GIVE US BACK THE R16 000 WE PAID THEM. The damaged exceed R 16 000 by far! They don’t answer our calls. Even messages we leave with their secretary Chantelle. Eric, the CEO is NEVER available! I attach photo’s taken on 6 and 7 April 2017. We still have four empty container from the material they used to seal the roof. This can also be used for evidence that they HAVE WORKED ON OUR ROOF BETWEEN 2 ********** . They deny that they have worked on our roof! Water is literally running from the ceilings in the dining room, kitchen, part of sitting room, whole of the main bedroom and bathroom..
