Booked and paid R 4500 deposit in October via SafariNow for a stay in Dec 2020. Duly arrived for the stay in Dec 2020 to be told be the owner that Safari had cancelled, he had re-booked guests and he was now fully booked. No apology, no offer to assist. Simply told that i must sort it out with Safari. I had to find somewhere else and pay again. In the new year i checked with Safari who confirmed that they had paid a portion - R 3150 to the owner, Danie Lodewyks, in October 2020 and that HE had cancelled!!! Despite many messages to Danie in Jan/Feb 2021, who 1st stalled by saying he needed to check with his accountant and about 2 weeks later, after more messages from me, promised to refund me, he never did. What a sleazeball and a *****.
