Seabrook handling and forwarding Cape Town

Seabrook Shipping in Cape Town quoted us for a 20 foot container with our household possessions to be shipped to Ukraine, Odessa. The hole experience from documentation to final delivery was very stressful for my wife and I. Firstly documents had to be redone a number of times due to spelling mistakes and they registered our personal items as import for business purposes. The after many emails and phone calls they finally rectified all the mistakes. We only received the Bill of Lading from Seabrook a few days after the ship had left Cape Town. Yet another critical mistake, they shipped our container to the wrong port. Of course Seabrook didn't take any responsibility for their mistakes and my wife and I was left with a extra $ 1200.00 higher import tax. No apology from Seabrook, relizing their mistakes. After we made all the arrangements our self and had to pay for the mistakes of Seabrook our container finally arrived at our home. New surprise, our furniture, boxes with accessories and clothes was not packed correctly in the container and many things was damaged (we were charged R 35 000.00 for packing). And of course some of our belongings was missing as well. Home computer, printer, some of my daughters toys, many expensive kitchen accessories, blankets, duvet and telescope. (To much to mention). Seabrook was very unprofessional, unhelpful and caused my wife and I a lot of sleepless nights. I will never use them again and I would not advice anyone to do business with them.
