Hard work to deal with

Judging from some of the other recent reviews I consider myself lucky - my vehicle arrived in one piece! I have two main problems with Seabrook - 1. They communicate very badly. Had to send many chase up emails and requests for clarification depite promising the earth during their sales pitch. 2. They are less than honest. They ******ed an additional R10000 out of me to send my vehicle in a 20ft container on an agreed date instead of a 40ft container on some unknown date. Ended up that they sent my vehicle in a 40ft container anyway and kept the extra money! I have made many attempts to get some if not all of of my cash back including appealing to Chris, the owner, but despair of receiving anything. On the plus side Lee, the guy in charge of loooking after the vehicles and loading them, did a great job and they intoduced me to Dan at Collitrans in Australia who introduced me to Dominic of Personal Imports, also in Australia. They both communicated brilliantly and performed magnificently in arguably the most difficult part of moving a vehicle into Australia. If I would have to do this again I would ask one of the Australian gentlemen who else they would suggest to use on the South African side and steer clear of Seabrook.
