SDI PROPERTY INTELLIGENCE SHADY BEHAVIOR TOWARDS STUDENTS

On the 22 of January 2019 I contacted an ambassador for SDI properties at Johannesburg who were advertising a student accommodation at affordable prices. The ambassador told me all about SDI and how they are renovating the building which was previously know as Leebraam owned by Dunwell properties and he said that the building is available to rent and showed me and other students the room which were already renovated and ready to be viewed. I was promised the room I want to book will be ready by the 4th of February when I'll come to finalise the whole process of moving in since I am an NSFAS student. The ambassador told me that to secure space I have to pay R1100 which is adminstration fee so I did since I didn't want to lose the room. After paying he requested proof of payment, ID and proof of registration of which I provided. I contacted the ambassador informing him that on the 03 of February I will be coming to fetch my quotation and sign the lease only for him to tell me he no longer works there and gave me three other numbers of other ambassadors who are still working there and I contacted them all only to get blueticked and one of them referred me to a landline which i didn't use since it was useless. I kept enquiring about what is happening and was told that one of the ambassadors was allegedly in a car accident and the other ambassador told me that they are having problems with landlord and that their offices are closed and will open on Wednesday of the 06th. By this time I don't have a place to stay, on the 4th classes have began, I got to the accommodation only to find out that nothing of substance has been done and the building is not suitable for living in and on top of that on the 06th of February on this Wednesday I was told to come to the office there was no office and I was told they moved accross the road by the security guy but I went to their new supposed offices and there was no one. They made me travel to Johannesburg for nothing and I still have no place to stay. I told my friends about this only to find out that I'm not the only one and right now I'm sitting at 12 number of confirmed victims like me, some of them having paid much more than that.

I URGE WHOEVER WHO WANT TO STAY AT SDI PROPERTY JOHANNESBURG TO NOT DO IT, THEY DISAPPEARED WITH MY MONEY AND SECERAL OTJER PEOPLE'S MONEY. AND THEY NO LONGER COMMUNICATE, I CALLED AN AMBASSADOR TODAY AND SHE SAID THR OFFICE IS NOT PICKING UP AND I'M STILL WITHOUT A ROOM HAVING LOST R1100 FOR NOTHING

DON'T STAY AT SDI PROPERTY INTELLIGENCE, IT'S YOUR WORST MISTAKE.

If they tell you to go get a quotation at Dunwell and pay at their Bank account.. it's a trap... you'll lose everything.
