Terrible installation using incorrect equipment

SDD were contracted to install a cold room. We subsequently found out that they installed an airconditioning condenser instead of a refrigeration condenser which is not compatible to the refrigeration blower. When they originally installed the units, we asked why the blower was so big, and were told that “it’s fine, it will work”. The blower in the coldroom is far to big for the size of the condenser and coldroom and has subsequently stopped working after a year of use. The MD, Len Berman, said he would come back and change the motor - at our cost of R20000. We went to another supplier and they quoted R45000 to rectify the mess he has made. SDD took shortcuts and installed the wrong equipment - and now insist we pay for it. Don’t use them, they are not an honourable company to deal with.
