SculptSA online store policies put me off

I have not purchased items from this online South African company and am not reviewing their clothing items. This review is on their policies. I was interested initially in buying (as a first time customer), but their policies put me off ordering from them. Their shipping, return and refund policy is not something I can accept.

1. Shipping is R99 ( as of Mach 2026) unless you purchase items to the value of R1500 or more. Most companies do understandably charge for shipment, but it's usually no more than R70 for orders under R650 (within 50km), and usually free for orders above R650. 2. The customer must pay the cost of shipment for a return. The amount varies, depending on the courier used ( I did not research shipment costs), but *all other stores I've purchased from have no fee for returns either. Obviously, terms and conditions apply. 3. There is a standard 10% handling fee on all returns. No other online clothing stores I know of has a handling fee for orders or returns. (Why a handling fee is necessary is baffling). 4. There is no refund available, only exchanges or store credit. This means you do not get your money back if you return items and don't want any other items they offer. So not only do you pay a shipment and a handling fee to return something, you do not get any refund either. !?! Sorry SculptSA, not today!
