In January 2021, I wanted to complete my open water scuba diving course through Edwin Darlington, he pushed me to pay R5000 before the end of January as part of a promotion. He also promised that my course would be completed within a full week, seeing as I booked a diving trip to Sodwana through him as well. Weeks and weekends went by with excuses and we even ended up waiting for hours for him at Miracle Waters in Brits, a no show!

Quickly a week before our trip he rushed to complete my course without giving me any theory materials or crew packs that I paid for. In Sodwana I paid for his accommodation and dives so he can assist us on each dive, but on dive nr 2 he was too drunk from the previous night and missed his dive. Long story short, he also claimed to have lost his wallet and I had to pay for all the extra's the rest of the trip as well as his bill when booking out.

Till today I haven't received the promised refund of that dive and the bills of R2554. Seeing as I am also not a registered diver and have nothing to show, the R5000 for the course was also a complete waste! He doesn't answer calls and makes empty promises.

Do not make use of any service through Scuba Squad or Edwin Darlington. You will save yourself money and a lot of time!
