Non roadworthy trailer

Rented a trailer from scorpion trailers on 16/10/2015 to collect furniture from springs gauteng. On the way back between nigel and heidelberg the trailers wheel hub and bearing came off. We reported it to scorpion who said the cant send someone to help. The furnite broke and got badly damaged. We where assured that the trailer was roadworthy and had a spare wheel with closer inspection we found no spare wheel and cracks and brakeges to the hub. What do we do about this please help
