Unfair dealership treatment
I brought a case of unfair treatment against a dealership to Scorpion as a member but has had no joy. I was reffered to a Mr Rajoo whom I sent details regarding how a bought a mechanically faulty car from a dealership for R 75 000, after noticing defects I returned the car in 3 days to change to another one as stipulated in their contract. The dealership refused saying they are not in a business of exchanging cars and I can go to the police if I want to. I contacted scorpion and explained in detail what happened. Scorpion requested I do an affidavit, Get repairs report from the garage where I took the car, which amounted to R 21 000, give details and evidence I gathered, all of which was done and sent to Mr. Rajoo. I had a straight and forward case or so I thought. It is now 5 months since I started the process and now when I try to do the follow up, their phone ring unanswered and my emails are not responded to. They now have assigned a new lawyer Miss R Makowa without being notified and still my emails are unanswered.
