#SupportLocalBusiness. I herewith wish to write a positive review about the excellent service I received from Scorpion Legal Protection recently.

On the 7th February 2020 I visited Scorpion branch in Bellville in order to get legal assistance after noticing with shock that I was placed under Debt Review. I was warmly welcomed by Miss Simvuyele Phakamile on the day and she took all the facts related to my enquiry in order to open a file.

Simple because I was not sure which company placed myself under debt review, she could only do so little on the day. She printed a Power of Attorney document which I signed immediately and advised myself that my case would be referred to a Finance Specialist, who would assist me going forward. I was advised to give a waiting period of 14 days for the Specialist to revert back to me.

On the 13th January 2020, I received a phone call from Mr Maduvhula from Scorpion Legal Protection and he informed me that Mr Bonginkosi Ngomane was the Scorpion Specialist who was going to handle my case going forward. Mr Maduvhula also gave me the phone number of National Credit Regulator in order to contact them in connection with my dispute.

I contacted the NCR immediately and was given the name of the Debt counsellor who placed my name under Debt Review - as MR HENRY ODENDAAL. I immediately saved his cellphone number in my contacts and sent him a WhatsApp message requesting the contract I signed with his company.

Mr H. Odendaal requested my identity number which I sent immediately. On the 14th January 2020, I received an email from Miss Tania MacDonald, stating that there was no active profile with my name on their system, however they promised that they would removed the red flag from the National Credit Regulator in order for my name to be cleared.

I was communicating with Mr Bonginkosi Ngomane and it didn't take us too long before the Debt counsellor removed my name from Debt Review. On the 27th February 2020, I after giving permission to the Debt counsellor via my Legal Advisor, to pull a credit report on my name, received my consumer credit report.

I was very happy to notice that indeed Debtcare had removed my name from the Debt Review at the National Credit Regulator.

To both Simvuyele and Bonginkosi, thank you very much for your hard work and dedication behind the scenes. Your service was top class, excellent and I have no regrets for being a Scorpion member since May 2003
