SCORPION LEGAL ARE PATHETIC, A **** AND ARE FAILURES

I have been hearing people say BOTH THESE SCORPION LEGAL AND (MIOSA) MOTOR INDUSTRY OMBUDSMAN SOUTH AFRICA are useless but never paid attention. Bought a car in November 2021 from a dealership and literally from day one the car showed defects. The dealership continued to fix the problems in the car, but fail to clear the engine light that kept popping and failed to repair or replace the sunroof shade they promised to replace. Every time I would collect the car, the same day the engine light would come up on the dashboard and I would have to take it back. This one time they kept it for over two weeks and still it came back with the engine light on and without an explanation of what has been repaired or what the cause of the engine light is. The sunroof shade still not repaired or replaced. I then contacted Scorpion Legal for assistance. Ms Z Ally from Scorpion Legal advised me that I should take the car for an independent assessment and also outlined what the process will be, explained my rights and what options I had. Therefore, I did as advised and obtained a report from this reputable car service and repair centre. On 22 December, Ms Z Ally initiated the process and sent a letter of demand to the dealership, requesting a cancellation on the deal as there was clear evidence that the vehicle was defective. Whilst we were still waiting for the dealership to respond, the vehicle showed further defects through steering oil leaking and I alerted Scorpion about it. There were a number of emails between Scorpion (where I did most of the talking) and the dealership. Subsequently the dealership agreed to take the car back. The car was towed to the dealership and they came back throwing all sorts of accusations and lies, saying the car was involved in an accident. At this time, some T Reuben woman who was hard to get hold of and who clearly lacked experience was handling my case. After she received the email with all the accusations, the ONLY advice she gave me was that my matter is complex and I must approach MIOSA. OFCOURSE MY MATTER IS COMPLEX HENCE I HAVE APPROACHED YOU SCORPION LEGAL TO REPRESENT AND PROTECT ME, OTHERWISE IF IT WERE NOT COMPLEX I WOULD HAVE RESOLVED IT MYSELF. AFTER THAT ADVICE, THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I HEARD FROM HER AND SCORPION. 1 February 2022, I submitted my case to the OMBUDSMAN and on the 2 February, I submitted all supporting documents as per this instruction “Your Case Number is 377821 and the assigned Case Manager to your case is KENNETH MAKATU. Please forward all supporting documentation to your Case Manager directly at MIHLOTI SHIPALANE - ***.” 3 February MIOSA sent the dealership an email to respond within 10 days. There no further communication ever since that. I have no proof whether the dealership did respond. After numerous follow-ups with MIOSA, NOTHING. I sent Scorpion an email on 28 February, DOLOLO RESPONSE!!! I complained through their internal structures and received a reference wf_***0 on March 17, BUT GUESS WHAT??? DOLOLO Both seem promising in the beginning, allocating case numbers and giving dealership 10 or 14 days to respond, then after that you disappear. No maan these organizations are useless. One buys a car for everyday use and I am subjected to wait for weeks and months for a resolution. Why does MIOSA even exist?? This is nonsensical. You can decide whatever you want to decide, but truth of the matter you are useless piece of an Institution. You must just be ashamed you exist. Consumers continue to suffer while you exist. Why ask us to come to you when we have a problem yet you take this long? Please tell me what is the point? This is pathetic to say the least. I have no hope that my case will ever be resolved. Well done MIOSA. Having an Ombudsman for the motor industry in South Africa means absolutely nothing!!!

Then you get this thing called Scorpion Legal to assist you with your situation since you are a paying member, but guess what, they are more useless than Motor Industry Ombudsman South Africa. They just send the stupid demand letters that mean nothing. Because as soon as they get a reply that does not bow to their demands, they give.

SOUTH AFRICANS YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!!!!
