Hi guys,
If you all shopping around for legal insurance be very careful. In two of the matters I have ever had scorpion could help me but with paralegal advise. Useless if you required a lawyer.
I had a issue where I let friends stay in my flat and when I needed it back they refused to move. So went to scorpion who are over friendly staff best staff I have ever met. But down fall cause they paid me a small some thing for letting them stay in my flat it was classed as a business... gee not that I have a cc or Pty Ltd because it's a income.... I won't have anywhere to stay cause I can't move back into my flat depending on scorpion to assist me with legal assistance they can only help so much the rest you have to fork out.
Makes me wonder why I pay for such a service at all. Guys be careful these policy are like any other insurance they have T & Cs you must read carefully wish all this was explained in greater detail I would have looked for better... but now you have it don't just sign up and think you legal protected it's not the case you left in the dark.

We confirm having advised you that your matter is not covered in terms of your chosen policy due to reasons we explained to you. Firstly that you need to be the lawful owner of the property or legally authorised to act on behalf of the owner to have legal standing to pursue legal action in respect of such property. in this instance, only your mother who is the registered owner of the property or a legally authorised agent have legal standing to bring legal action against the occupants of the property for outstanding rental or any breaches.
