I'm losing faith in Scorpion's ability to resolve matters
I recently spoke to a rather pompous, unhelpful and uncaring Manager from Scorpion. Her name is Richelle Ramlucken regarding my civil claim. It basically was a one way communication in a sense that, she was giving me instructions (on email, mind you) on what to do and wouldn’t hear any of my concerns out in return. What saddens me is that she couldn’t even pick up a phone and call me herself but instead she was decided to delegate. What kind of a Manager is that? I’m very disappointed in Scorpion Durban branch but why am I disappointed in them because they did the very same thing to me before. Nothing new there.
They basically told me that ODBB attorneys are no longer on their panel and have therefore re-referred my matter to other Attorneys. This effectively means that I will take some time off again (like it happened previously), go consult and spend whatever hours there. I really don’t have a problem with doing that. My problem is I’m losing money as a result. I’m an hourly paid employee and every hour counts. But if you are dealing with people who don’t seem to care like Richelle, that to them means nothing at all. Because for someone like her, I am just a number to Scorpion .
Aside from Richelle being useless and unhelpful, what sort of guarantee will I have this second time around that the lawyers will not pull out from the panel like the ODBB ones did. I suspect that this will be a never-ending cycle where the case will go on for a certain duration, then follows the chopping changing of lawyers. And this is something that I don't have time for whatsoever. Please please please remember that I’m losing money as well and this negatively impacts my budget projections for the month especially now that it’s gonna be December.
Please Scorpion wake up and do your work, deliver and let competent people take over if you are failing. But I've honestly given up on Scorpion and it looks like the lose every case.
