Failed To Assist In A Civil Matter

Last month I opened a file with scorpion since I want to withdraw from debt review, I gave all the requested documents including a court order. Then the person who was dealing with my matter informed me that the won't be able to assist me since my debt review has a court order, and she advised me to get my private lawyer who will act on my behalf in court. I am so disappointed that I have to pay from my own pocket to get my matter resolved,I don't see the need of being a scorpion member since they failed me for a second time now. Last time I had to sweat in order to get attention from the company, for sure they can fail to present me in court if I can face a serious case in future. I wish to cancel my membership with scorpion and get my private lawyer. I'll also inform my family, neighbours and colleagues to do the same.

Hello lishe,

After reviewing your matter we are satisfied with the efforts that our legal adviser made to assist you. The only way to solve this matter is to set the court order aside. Unfortunately this process is not covered by the Scorpion policy and we explained the reasons to you.

The Scorpion product is not designed - or priced - to cover each and every legal case that a person can possibly encounter. Some exclusions do exist and they are clearly explained in our policy. We are also not aware of any of our competitors that cover cases like that. If you join our competitors you can prepare yourself to pay up to double the premium that you pay at Scorpion for roughly the same benefits.

But even if it is not covered we can still recommend an attorney and help you to negotiate preferential fees with him. Regarding your other matter that you mention above, we take note that you previously complimented us TWICE on our good service. We are therefore surprised that you say we did not help you with them. We will call you to get an update. We will then also confirm your cancellation of your membership.

Thanks
Rob Smith
