hi,<br> <br> its so disappointing to see a very well known legal protector like scorpion treating their customers like trash. i Frans Maila went to scorpion because i needed their help regarding ******* occupants in my own property who claims that the property is theirs yet they have none to prove.<br> <br> Scorpion assisted me since this case started now with court case due next week they withdrawing from the case reason being according to the clause 9.3 and 9.20 with read as follows \we do not pay legal expenses if the matter arises out of

We have reviewed your complaint.
We assisted you in this matter because according to your first version you were simply trying to evict people who were *******ly occupying your property. This is something we help our clients with all the time.
However when your matter proceeded to court for the eviction, we discovered that you were the landlord and they were your tenants. You were renting out this property to them. You never disclosed this to us in the beginning. This act of renting out properties is a commercial activity, and it is not covered by Scorpion. If you disclosed this to us in the beginning then we would have told this to you in the beginning. It is also explained in the policy document that you quoted from.
So far we have paid legal costs to your attorney that should never have been paid. We believe we have treated you more than fairly.
Notwithstanding the above we also don't think it is right to just withdraw our funding while the matter is about to go to court. We are in the process of discussing various options with you, and we are sure we can still resolve this matter.
