Breaches contracts, couldn't care
I ordered a switch from Scoop, which was urgently needed to get some staffs' computers up and running. They delivered the order the next day, as arranged, but without the switch. I phone to find out where the switch is, and they can offer no solution, just \sorry"and \""we'll refund you\"".

Typical small business attitude - they don't care that they've voluntarily entered into a legally binding agreement of sale"

After investigation you are 100% right and we did everything incorrectly. There was insufficient stock of the switch to supply you as it was the last unit and unfortunately missing. Nobody contacted you prior to dispatch and the invoice was then made out including the missing item.
The first time the manager was made aware of any issue was when you called to complain which was already too late. My understanding of that conversation was we were unable to offer you an acceptable alternative, and are now waiting on your bank details for a refund, which was the only other option available.
Apologies and can assure you this is not typical behaviour for the branch or company as a whole.
