<p>I bought about 6 months ago 4 1/2 ounce proof jruger rands because it was told to me that these are really valuable more valuable than the normal kruger rands.</p> <p>With the gold price I decided to one day ask a professional about these coins and ask him that since the Gold price was ok what would my proof 1/2 ounces be worth.</p> <p>Well to my surpise my 4 1/2 ounce coins were only worth what the current gold price was for that day.</p> <p>I want to know from them how they charged me R180 000 of my money for 4 coins that are only worth R38000 where is the rest of my money.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will not keep qiuet about this and wish I could take the matter further because they have totally ripped me off and I will never give this company a good name.</p>

A Krugerrand's value is linked to the gold price whilst the value of rare coins including Proof Krugerrands are determined by the precious metal component, the rarity of of the coin and the market interest in that particular coin at any given point in time.
