Disappointed with ABSA and Schumann Van Den Heever & Slabbert Inc

My late father passed away on 23 March 2021 and he had a will with ABSA. On 8 June 2022 ABSA sent me an email after my mother and brother visited their offices informing us that they (ABSA) have appointed Schumann van den Heever and Slabbert to handle the estate. We were given a list of documents to prepare. As a family, we compiled the documents and couriered these to the attorney's offices. On 13 June 2022, I sent an email to their representative confirming that the documents were couriered and I gave the individual the tracking number for the package.

On 29 August 2022, I received an email from the attorneys with a letter attached to the email. Here, I was informed that they appointed an estate administrator. The letter confirmed that the attorneys were in receipt of the letters of executorship and the necessary power of attorney. It was also stated that the creditors would lodge claims against the estate in 30 days after which the balance would be transferred out the the estate account. I acknowledged the email. I have sent emails asking about the latest on the matter. The latest email was sent on 5 February 2023 and to this day, I have been ignored. This experience has been terrible for my mother.
