Restaurant or Unrestaurant?

The Brackenfell branch had kind and professional staff, and the buffet was amazing and I'm holding back one star due to my experience...

That being said I'm not saying that what I'm about to say happens all the time, but the night we were there was special, there was a wedding, what looked like random prayer meetings, as well as various sized groups looking to try the place, and what ensued must have been a crossover of parties because our experience was pleasantly saturated with non-stop eruptions of unruliness through kid's screaming and running past tables, and really loud random prayers... even the outside area offered no escape from the noise because beside the outside play park being manhandled, those using it were so incredibly vocal that having a chat, taking a call or having a smoke was not imposed on at all... They enjoyed the play park so much there were torn off parts laying around the walkway.

Leaving the place felt like a Japanese Obstacle Course TV Show with the gauntlet of kids choking the walkway with no regard for the personal space of people trying to leave with their dignity intact... and it was trumped with the most stressful and chaotic of venue-to-car exodus we've ever seen with soft goodbye calls from one end of the parking lot to the other...

I totally understand that some people might not be used to such places and that the food might have been that good that it stimulated HD behavior in some, but it's going to need to be managed to the point of my 10-person party not being visibly dissatisfied and not saying that they won't return or recommend the experience (not the place itself) to anyone, and I'd probably not make a return visit in fear of the probability of constant interruptions by high-pitched squealing from children (or anyone). it gets annoying, spikes anxiety and hurts the eardrum. Not the place if you want a relaxed dining experience with loved ones and not strain to hear your table speak or strain to be heard.

So, I'm not saying it's a bad place, and I'm not saying don't go there... Please go there and enjoy the buffet which is the best part, it is but call ahead to find out if any functions are booked and if you can expect a reasonably quiet dining experience and not have to worry about super hyperactive/destructive behavior coupled with constant 22Khz frequency squealing whilst trying to eat and bond with loved ones you have not seen in a long time.... and if they cannot promise the experience you prefer then you could ask if they have some kind of contingency or protocol in place where someone who works there, perhaps one pf the managers or the GM could walk around and quell any would decibel attacks and deploy a team of childminders to diffuse and unruly behavior or screaming to validate the price of an all-you-can-eat buffet that doesn't offer a free glass of water or a allow one to take home an unfinished plate... Remember, people save cash, shift plans, book seats, buy clothes, visit hairdressers and dress up to look their best to feel good, to make an impression and enjoy themselves, not to be irradiated and annoyed and still pay to feel that way. It costs a lot for some... So, if that's your vibe by all means go for it
