Ticked all the boxes

I have been very happy with the support that I have received these past months from this agency, School Jobs Overseas, teaching English online. The work has been varied and interesting, to say the least.

Having worked for a large number of agencies this company ticked all the boxes except one, which has now been resolved to my satisfaction. I was unaware that some Colombian companies would be deducting 10% from my salary in taxes. I have been advised that Colombian companies have an obligation to retain 10% of the overseas consultancy charges (my teaching fees) and pay this to the tax authorities in Colombia, known as "DIAN". It would have been nice to be advised beforehand.

Other than that, I can recommend working with this organisation. Pay rates are very good and in hindsight, even after paying 10% in taxes, I cannot complain.
