Schalk Marias Disgusting!

This is a massive warning to anyone building and chosing to use Schalk and his team to do the work. The scope of work he said will be a 3 week project to completion which continued on and off (4 to 5 days of no show) for 8 weeks and was never, ever completed.

His workmanship is dreadfully untidy and you will be spending huge amounts of money to fix his mess. Your property will be left in a mess with more rubble than you will know what to do with.

He hires unprofessional trades people like his electrician as an example, who has a day job elsewhere, and can not get to your property to do the work, who comes over weekends and also proceeds to make a huge mess not doing the work at all properly; he doesn't know what he is doing. You will beg literally to not have him ever come back, Schalk makes it your responsibility to find a replacement electrician and when the billing comes he sends you this message: "Ek verstaan jou nie, Jhonny het my R 2500.00 gevra om my werk te doen, let wel my werk, voor jy hom gebruik het om jou werk te doen, so nou betaal ek R 2 450.00 meer oor jou besluit, ek sal hom betaal maar ek gaan more my goed optel, en dan stel jy n balance sheet op en ons kyk wie skuld vir wie, nou het jy my te ver gedryf"

He sends tiling traders who come put tiles down in a shocking and totally unacceptable way and then neither him nor the tilers come back to come sort out the mess they made. You end up having the tiles taken out, replaced and done correctly at your own cost.

He will turn around and blame you for everything that goes wrong and abandon your renovations without a word and with your property keys. Then he will come back after a week or so; zero communication and avoiding your phone calls and without an appointment, use your property keys to enter your private space which is trespassing and this us ********!

I have never been so disgusted in a person in my life. He should have his building company shut down by an authority.
