All 7 Tourism offices had been closed down due to *******ion, disappearing of money and the whole head office equipment. With tourism bringing in the most money in the West Coast, especially after Saldanha Steel was closed down, Transnet not opening the Lighthouse in Cape Columbine Nature, not opening railway lines in Paarl and surrounding towns, etc, etc. I was told by SBM they actually di not work with the closing of Tourism, that actually means they do not care about the person who are guilty, and there is proof??? Now it means the whole process will take a long time again to start Saldanha Bay Tourism Organisation and offices in towns all over! Tourists now get no info or maps, brochures, accommo - dation options. People lost their jobs, cars, all their savings, everything! What a disgrace for the Westcoast!
