Unfair treatment

I recently got ******* into joining the Sbk gym (Germiston branch). I asked the guy to show me around and explain the premiums but instead at the end i foubd myself being asked that which option im i gonna go with since "today`` was the last day of promotion and im lucky so i should choose which option i want. I was so puzzeled not knowing what to say cause i felt i was cornered. Then 2weeks after i called to cancel the membership mind you i didnt even go gym in that 2weeks then i was told that im already late to cancel, i can only calculate my 3years membership and pay a certain amount which is not fair. So lately we have been in the Lockdown for the whole of April and they never communicated anything with the members like some other gyms did and BOOOOOM Month end my premium was debited and i did not go due to the Goverment covid 19 rules that we needed to follow. Please advice was i wrong by disputing the amount ? And im worried it might cause a bad record under my name.
