Planet Fitness

<p>In April 2013 I signed a contract with Planet Fitness. After signing the contract I changed my mind about it and called Planet Fitness to cancel and also emailed them. Even though I signed the contract in April 2013, the gym was still under construction and they were just recruiting people to join the gym. Harold signed me up with a few of my colleagues. I was corresponding with someone by the name of Carvol in Cape Town. She rep**** to my email (which I have also emailed to Planet Fitness) and stated that I had to pay a cancellation fee. The opening date for the gym was delayed - only opened in July 2013. I did not receive any further emails from her. Then out of the blue I start getting calls, especially at this time of the year from a Mariam from Saya. These calls have just started coming in again!!!!!! I spoke to her twice, maybe thrice on the phone and asked her to sms me her email address. I emailed her and I have yet to get a response, but subsequent to my phone call, she started sending me sms's demanding payment and threatening legal action????? I'm getting pretty irritated with these sms's now. It's been more than three years ago that I signed that contract and cancelled it. Not ONCE did I go to the gym to exercise???? Can someone please, other than Mariam, respond. </p>
