MTN Arrears

Saya Recoveries is not transparent with their clients.I received and sms stating that X amount is due on my MTN account with added banking details for the payment. I then get phoned by a Saya Agent who I made arrangements with and said I will only be able to make payment on the 4th of April. I received an sms to confirm this. AND THEN TODAY THE 28th I receive an email stating I have not made payment? Today I requested documentation to ensure that all amounts is in order and I then receive a bill sheet with a big shock I then see my bill amount has gone up due to email, sms and calling fees as well as commission fee of R172.30. This was never discussed with me nor have I ever received documentation stating that I am liable for additional cost. I was under the impression that I only need to pay of X amount and now see that there are cost being added which makes the amount more than discussed. This is very unprofessional as this was never discussed nor was it stated anywhere. No documentation being sent out and no contract that states the T & C's or the fixed amount due. You are not transparent with your clients.

Dear Ms. Vermeulen,

As per the terms and conditions of the MTN contract, if your account is handed over for collections you will also be held liable for collections cost. The fees and costs that you have been billed are in line with the debt collector's act.

An agent will be in contact with you to assist you further with this account.

Kind Regards,
Saya Recoveries
