Account from planet fitness just gym

I don't think these people want to solve my matter cos is not for the first time they contacted me regarding my just gym account and at first they said I can pay in half, so last month a guy by the name of Funny called me telling me that my outstanding balance is R1200, n I promised to pay R500 on the 31st of last month n I did n promised to pay the remaining ths month, so today when I ask him how much is my settlement he tells me that is R1400 n he say its a cancellation few n he tells me that my account with just gym has not been cancelled n they are still billing amd people saya advised me to write cancellation letters which I did more than 2 times so I think its higher time we look into contract cos it stated very well that I can terminate my contract provided I tell them in writing so I am confused now cos don't know who to blame cos ive been paying but know progress n I think they have to refund me some of my money cos is their problem now, ive been paying paying they tell me about auto renewal while I wrote more than 2 letter saying I dont want to gym with them since ive relocated,
