Car hire extension

My car (Uber business car) was involved in an accident on 15 Jan 2016. On the 18 Jan 2016 I received a car hire so far so good.

At this point the car is at the panelbeaters waiting for authorization from the insurer.
The panelbeater can't work on the car nor order parts as he's still waiting for the assessor.

Two weeks later the authorisation was sent to the panelbeaters that is on 04 February 2016. This means that I have only left with two weeks to utilize the car, whether my car is ready or not I must return the hired car back.

Here is the bone of contention - On the 16 February 2016 my wife sent an email to GIB who is the broker requesting car hire extension, and then GIB escalated to Saxum Insurance (Underwriters).

Saxum Insurance refused to extend the car hire as the maximum period is only 30 days, without taking into account that they delayed the process for the full two weeks.

Today 23 February 2016 I'm out of business, my driver is sitting at home (he doesn't have a car), month end I must pay for the insurance and I must pay for the car installment.
I feel that Saxum have failed in addressing this matter and I want recourse as it is not my fault that
