Savumash horror
Arrived 5 August at Savumash Lodge. No one at gate we drove in until we met up with 3 cleaning ladies who told us to come back on the 6th as they didn't know about any booking. As surprised as i was i asked for the bosses number and she told me she doesn't have. How do you drive 3 hours and get told to go back. Called twf and they gave me sammys number whose the owner. He called me on the cleaners number but very unapologetic and seemed to blame the cleaners for not knowing that we were coming. We checked into the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in. You could barely sit on the toilet seat without touching the basin and wall because there was no space. Ok day 2 we wake up in the morning no breakfast no one knows where the chef is. Chef arrives as we are leaving for work and apparently eggs with mince had already been prepared. When? I don't know. I don't bother to eat I'm late anyway. Day 2 we come back to my colleagues room not cleaned up. Apparently owner left with spare key so they couldn't clean the room. Still no one came to apologize for the previous days mishap now this. Only the burglar bar could lock not the door. Mind you this room was not too far from the gate that we entered that had no security. The towels had holes in them. There was no sense of friendliness at all. This place really deserves a serious revamp and training for staff because they are rude. They would have never treated a white person in that manner.
