From bad to great!
<p>I'm an expat living in South Africa, and as such, we rent a home. We found a place through Save Living Properties and moved in Oct 28, 2016. I'm not going to go into details, but the experience wasn't great to start, and it took several months for things to be fixed that were supposed to be ready on move in.</p> <p>However, I'm not going to dwell on that, as I think I could have fixed the problem much earlier. The agent I was working with was nice, but didn't seem to get things done. She left the company, and then Michelle and Mercia took over. By this point, I was mad, frustrated, and generally ornery. Michelle and Mercia changed things immediately, and I fully believe that had I just contacted them earlier with the problems I was having, things wouldn't have escalated to the point they did. </p> <p>From the time Michelle and Mercia became my point of contact, communication has been exceptional, and more importantly, they do everything they say they will do, when they say they will do it. </p> <p>I would highly recommend Save Living Properties. They are very service-oriented, and have turned a bad situation into a great one in which all parties are happy. </p>
I posted my initial review because I THOUGHT I was finally going to get helped. But the owner at this company is terrible. She never once apologies or admits she's caused me massive inconveniences, and she tries to deflect all the issues back on her customers. I've been waiting for 9 months to get things fixed in the house I'm renting (which she was contractually obligated to have fixed before I moved in), and now she's suggesting there isn't any problems at all. She hasn't come by once to verify anything I've been telling her and keeps hiring subpar contractors to come and not fix things properly. Absolutely brutal- stay far away from this company.
