Act of Kindness

This evening my husband and I were crazy exhausted from the day so we decided to get takeaways. My husband didn't want to order Sausage Saloon because the app doesn't allow you to order sauce on the corndog. So I take a shot and say that I'd phone the shop and ask them to add sauce. I didn't realise that they don't have a phone in the shop. The call went through to an individual (a manager I think). I explained to him the situation but I say that it's fine and I understand that there's nothing he can do. However, he says to me that he would phone a staff member and ask them to do it. He didn't even have the order number. Guess what! It had been done. You, human, are awesome and I hope your boss sees this and gives you a raise! I was having such a terrible day and I was so emotional. But you sir honestly reminded my husband and I that there are good people. He didn't even know me and he did this for me. It's not about the sauce, it's about the fact that someone was so kind to do something this small.
