No joy from Satrix with disinvestment

I have tried to assist my elderly mother to sell some of her units held in Satrix. After giving notice on the platform (which was a challenge of its own as her details were incorrect) on 26 September, we were notified that due to an "IT error" on the platform the units were still not sold by October 4th.

I had to send a screen shot of the platform to their support desk, who undertook to resolve the matter within 36 hours...on 6 October I contact them again. "IT will look into the matter and resolve it" was the message.

In the mean time, the stock is losing value...I suppose it will be futile to try and claim some of the losses from Satrix as this was an "IT issue"??? Too many issues with Satrix, I would not recommend this platform. There are easier ways to invest and disinvest
