DSTV 'supposed' accreditted installer ???

Called the company to install new Explora. Installer could not supply his accreditation number once installation was done even though gave assurances that he had one. Had NO experience in installing the new Explora or the new LNB. Blamed the non working of the channels on DSTV/Multichoice supplying me with a faulty LNB. Phoned one of his mates to see what was wrong. Was told that he was putting in the wrong frequencies. Tried to put in new frequencies and messed it up. Didnt know then how to get back to original settings. I had to call DSTV technicians to get the new frequencies to get the installation working. Paid him via FNB Geo Payments which he has all to willing to accept. When i informed him that e refund of 25% was due as he did not install a fully working product, he agreed. Has now sent an email saying he will not refund as he was not to blame. This from an accredited installer who does not know the product. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A RELIABLE INSTALLER. MAKES THE WORLD OF PROMISES BUT DOESNT DELIVER ANYTHING. BRINGS HIS CHILD TO HELP WITH HIS INSTALLATIONS. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WARNING SIGN FOR ME. AM REPORTING HIM DIRECTLY TO MULTICHOICE.
