Sasol Protea Glen- Fhelofelo Mathebula

On the 15th May 2023 after filling petrol at the Sasol Protea Glen garage, I then went inside the store and asked the lady who works at the canteen or bakery side if the manager is available as I want to find out what the recruitment process is as I’m looking to get my younger brother a job to be a petrol attendant, the manager shortly came to speak with me and advised that I need to bring his cv and give it to the cashier who will then forward to manager and it will be sent to their HR. On the 16th May 2023 I then went back to the garage and gave the cv to the cashier and advised that I had spoken to the manager and handing in a cv, the cashier then seemed surprised and had a terrible attitude asking me which manager did I speak to, firstly none of the people I spoke to had name tags on, but my response to her was the person managing the garage is the person is spoke to and he advised me to leave the cv with the cashier, which sounded like something new to her judging by how difficult she was being in taking it, saying managers don’t take cvs which I told her hence I’m giving it to her as the cashier cause it’s what the manager had told me to do. No name tag, not helpful, bad attitude. I then went on to use the restroom in the garage on my way out I then went back to the lady and asked her name so I can know whom I gave the cv to, she blatantly refused, whilst shocked at her response the manager stepped out coincidentally whom I recognized and I then tell him of what just happened and that his staff is refusing to give me her name, he then tried pleading with the cashier to give her name and last name and she was refusing even to her manager and I then asked the manager how is it possible that he doesn’t know his staffs names and surnames which was a total shock to me that the manager doesn’t know his staff. The cashier then tells her manager that I gave her the cv with attitude so why must she give out her name and surname, The manager then went inside the cashier booth and wrote down the cashiers name as Fhelofelo Mathebula I then asked for the managers name which he said it’s Mkhwa****. It’s really sad the appalling customer service I received from this cashier cause my younger brother is looking for a job and he would do a great job at it as he understands customer service ethics and knows he needs to treat everyone with respect. The refusal of the cashier to give her name was totally appalling, on my way out after getting the names the cashier then started pointed through the window whilst speaking to her colleagues, I am aware there is camera in the store and was hoping the cameras have audio so that the owner of the store can listen to how the staff speaks to customers and their conduct. I don’t live far from the garage and I often use it. I’m not even sure if the name that was provided for the cashier is the correct name. When I asked her why does she have such an attitude towards customers and her response was I gave her the cv with an attitude, and even screaming back at me. I told her she doesn’t love or need her job and should let other people who have a passion for people and need jobs to work in her place cause she doesn’t deserve to be in such an industry.
