Sasol Garage Station Square are ******!!!
Friday the 4th, my husband and I were driving to Venda from Pretoria North, as late as we were, we saw the need to stop at a garage to add petrol, our car was on 3/4 full and because we needed to see how much petrol we going to need for the entire trip, he suggested we go to Engen on the N4 but because Sasol is closer to home and we always use that garage, I convinced him to drive to Sasol Station Square, little did we know that it was the worst decision we took...
When we got there, we spent about a min or 2 in the car with the car on then only spoke to the attendant who was standing by the window. I got out of the passenger side and asked him to add up our petrol and went into the garage to buy some stuff. My husband got out to check the attendant who was pumping up the tyres as we once had a situation where our tyres were over filled at the same garage.
Moving along, I swiped R299,75 for a fill up of a quarter which didn't make sense as I felt it was too much, when we started the car, the gauge didn't move, I alerted my husband we then switched on&off the car for about 3 times to see if it will move up and nothing happened.
We went and notified the attendant who then said to us, we were not the first ones to complain, 2 other people had to come back to him to apologize for accusing him of not filling up and he said to us, something is wrong with our car. He then said he told my husband that if he had to put R300 exactly, the petrol was going to spill so he had to make it R299,75.
He said he will bring us the slip which he did but I was not convinced still. I said to him that he should put more petrol so we can see that it's really full since he said he saw that it's too full, he said noo the gauge will move up when we drive and because we had a 6hr trip ahead we just left and hoped it will indeed move up.
A few kilometers of driving the gauge started moving down, we ignored it, it moved further down that's when we got angry and called the garage, all the calls we made to them were not answered upto today! We then called Sasol SA and a lady who seemed like she's working from home and had kids screaming at the background answered but kept on saying "hello, hello" and we ended up leaving the calling as we didn't get no joy, our airtime was wasted and before you actually get to that lady, there's automated machine telling us stories.
Sunday we went back to the garage and spoke to the manager, Ruan (hope it's spelt right) and said he's gonna come back to us and we even addressed the phone issue that's not answered, yesterday I called to follow up, no answer, today again, no answer... No feedback of some sort, no updates nothing...
We are wondering how many other people have been ****** from that garage??? How many other people are still going to be ******? We work so hard for our money and someone who sees themselves as the cleverest decides to just do that and what saddens us is that, we use that garage a lot when we are in Pretoria North, we chose it over Engen and today we are here because of ******.
People of Pretoria North, save yourselves from being ****** and don't use Sasol Garage in Winternest, otherwise always ensure you see the attendant starting the tank from zero which is what we always do because I was ****** before but sadly on that specific day we got destructed and didn't check...
