Sasol durban road

Last week Thursday we stopped at the Sasol garage in Durban road to fill up our car . As we stopped there we noticed the garage was extremely busy , so while waiting our phone rang and as of nature we answered the phone . At the same time talking on the cell phone the petrol attendant came to assist us , but because we were on the phone he started to get upset , instead of just asking in a nicely manner " Please if you could be so kind to move forth so we could assist other customers " he was very rude saying "move ! you are wasting my time! There is a long line" . Very upset Rinaldo ( who was driving the car) got out explaining to him how rude he is , he then sarcastically saying "sorry sir , sorry" .

Leaving it there I went in looking for the manager , he has already left so the cashier gave me the name of the petrol attended(Daniel) and also the manager's number.

Friday morning I phoned the manager, I got very upset about the way he handled what I was explaining to him as the whole conversation through he tried to pin it on us the customer for answering the call WHILE WAITING, as then I realized why the petrol attended acted the way he did, as his manager does exactly the same thing, they cannot work well with the customer. He then just offered us a free car wash just so I would stop talking. I then went home and told Rinaldo as he then went in on Saturday , not for the car wash but just so he could make his point clear. Yes , we do understand the Rule/Regulation/Safety hazard of not being on our phones at the garage , but we did apologies , what the whole issue was is the manner on how we were treated as customers by the petrol attended as well as the , as he pronounced, "owner" of the garage. If this is the way Sasol treats their customers I would just like to say that I would not refer anyone there and that we are very disappointed as we could not even get a nice apology for the rudeness .

Very disappointed customer!
