Sasol does not care
Just before the the massive fuel increase of October 2018 my wife tried to fill her vehicle at the Sasol Buffelsfontein Service Station in Port Elizabeth. The vehicle is a Renault Sandero. On arrival she advised the the attendant to fill up the vehicle. Not looking at the petrol pump she carried on with her notes for the day. When she looked again the pump was showing R891 and 58 liters. Now the reading is impossible for the following reasons; 1. The tank on the vehicle has a capacity of 50 liters including reserve. PEs Renault dealer ship has verified this. 2. The vehicle was not yet on reserve with about a quarter tank. Unfortunately we cannot verify this.
Upon taking it up with the station concerned I was shown videos etc to show that our vehicle was the only one to fill up in a long period. Nonsense in my opinion. The vehicle before that filled paying cash and using a card Why ?The amount in dispute ties up with this
I have tried talking to station concerned without any joy. I have sent emails to Sasol to various addresses which i got from the internet. This occurred on the 2 October and to d ate have had no response
