Sasol - are we being done in?

Good day,

I've been contemplating taking to social media to see if other members of the public have experienced the same issue. I've driven my car for 3 years now, and when filling up or just adding R100 or R200, the fuel gauge needle on my Renault Clio 2019, always registers the fuel that has been added. As a matter of fact, my onboard computer also calculates the "Range" of km's I have left to drive. I haven't made use of this particular Sasol for more than a year.

Now remember, it's month end, and cash is low. I added R150 Sasol 93' unleaded fuel this morning. My fuel gauge needle doesn't move an inch, the onboard "Range" calculator doesn't register any fuel being added, yet the attendant, the cashier and the manager all allude that my car is faulty.

I don't know how the POS system works at this particular branch, they say it's foolproof. So, I'm thinking... What if they have rigged the system, the liters poured, or the pump is dry... Why else would my car not register the R150 I put in this morning? and this is the first time it's ever happened.

Now, I'm not pointing fingers and there is a slight possibility that there is a fault with my fuel gauge. Taking it to a dealership will solve that issue. However, I'm curious if other people have experienced the same problem at this or any other Sasol filling station. Maybe this is a can of worms and we are being done in.

What recourse do I have if the dealership clears any fault on my car? Your feedback would be highly appreciated
