Rude petrol attendant

This morning I was filling up at the Sasol in Hatfield because petrol is apparently going up tomorrow. When I get to the garage I asked for 95 and just told the attendant to fill it up because I was not sure of the amount as I had poured some petrol yesterday. As he is filling up, the airlock in the petrol tank kicks and I tell him through the open window that if its full he must leave it. I say it 3 times and in all 3 times he is looking down and I figured he didn't hear me. I shout loader and say hello and that's when he looks up and I repeat again that if its full he must leave it and as I say this he is still forcing petrol into the tank. He finally closes the cap of the car tank and comes around the car. I ask him why he didn't stop filling up when I asked him to and he says he was looking up at me the whole time and I didn't say anything. I asked him why then did I have to repeat myself so many times and did he not hear the airlock kick when he was filling up. He starts going off on me and telling me that I am always like this and I always do this and mind you, this is the first time in a lot of months that I asked for a full tank without specifying an amount (my receipts and bank statements will prove this). The next thing he says that all the attendants don't want to serve me because I am rude. All this time I am shocked because I had never experienced it and I did not think that asking him to stop forcing petrol into my car would be such a big issue. I am hurt and disappointed in this morning's experience. The sad thing is that I have been filling up regularly at that garage for the past 3 years and this is the first time I have felt so humiliated for trying to protect my asset, worse, I am still talking to the guy and he just walks away muttering on and everyone is looking on in shock, including me... The attitude that that man gave me was bad I ended up asking him why he is so moody and taking it out on me but he made me feel like I was the one who made him that way. Now I am terrified to go back to that garage...
