Profit at our expense

<p>Good day I hope I find you well. I popped into a Sasol service station yesterday (wI'll not say which one in public) and wanted to buy a 440ml play energy drink until I saw how much the owner was charging. R23.40 per a can. Now I know it is a franchise and pricing is at the owners discretion but what you may not know or any readers of this is cost including VAT on this item is R11.00 per a can. That makes profit at R12.40 or a GP of 53%. While this may look lovely on a GRV there are members of the public who feel being ****** at till point is offensive. </p>
